The Domestic Side Effects of Economic Warfare

Supreme Court Blocks Controversial Vaccine Mandate
On Thursday, Jan 13, 2022, the Supreme Court of the United States moved to stay the Biden Administration’s proposed COVID-19 vaccine mandate on companies with 100 or more employees. Conversely, it allowed a similar vaccination mandate on the healthcare industry to proceed. This week, we’ll explore the differing decisions and the implications they will have moving forward.
Five Economic Challenges for 2022
The United States managed to enjoy strong economic growth in Q4 of 2021. Despite challenges like rising inflation, supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, Federal Reserve tightening, and COVID variants, experts seem to believe this economic momentum will continue into 2022. This week, I’d like to briefly cover these five challenges and share some predictions for how they’ll likely play out in the year ahead.
