The Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber works alongside local community partners, employers, service providers, and organizations to connect families, childcare providers, and the broader community with the resources they need to succeed. By fostering collaboration and strengthening access to information, funding opportunities, and support services, the Chamber helps build a more connected and resilient childcare ecosystem throughout Southwest Michigan.

Childcare is the foundation of economic growth. When families have access to safe, affordable, and high-quality childcare, parents can participate in the workforce, businesses can attract and retain employees, and children are better prepared for long-term educational success. A strong childcare system not only supports working families but also strengthens the regional economy by reducing workforce barriers, increasing productivity, and creating a pipeline for future talent. Investing in childcare is an investment in the economic vitality and long-term prosperity of Southwest Michigan.
