Berrien Talent Collaborative

Berrien Talent Collaborative

The Berrien Talent Collaborative helps our community by creating a talent supply chain. The Collaborative, a partnership between Berrien RESA, Lake Michigan College, the Southwest Regional Chamber and the Greater Niles Chamber of Commerce, represents an employer-led initiative for high school students that merges the area’s education and job development resources to create a sustained pool of skilled workers through an apprenticeship program.

Advocacy

Advocacy

Our advocacy programming is essential to cultivating a regional business climate where businesses can truly flourish. We take this work seriously, engaging in a number of year-round advocacy initiatives that empower our members to make a lasting impact on the issues that matter most. Want to drive meaningful change in our community? Explore how our proactive advocacy programming can shape the landscape for your success.

Young Professionals Program

Young Professionals Program

Our NextGen Young Professionals program helps emerging leaders build a strong professional network and forge connections that may lead to new business collaborations, mentorship opportunities, or even future career advancements. Through networking events, workshops, community service opportunities and seminars, we create a supportive environment for personal and career growth for individuals between the ages of 21 and 40.

Leadership Accelerator

Leadership Accelerator

Leadership Accelerator, the region’s premier leadership development program, is designed to engage, empower, and develop the next generation of leaders in Michigan’s Great Southwest. During this intensive seven-month curriculum, a diverse cohort of current and emerging leaders undergo a transformational learning experience and gain access to the skills, knowledge, and networks necessary to excel in their roles, lead their organizations, and make a lasting impact on our community.

Buy Local Berrien!

Buy Local Berrien!

Since its creation in 2020 during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Buy Local Berrien! Facebook Group has organically amassed nearly 20,000 highly engaged members, over 50,000 posts, and over 200,000 comments promoting local dining, shopping, and services. We’ve since grown this thriving online community into a content-rich website in an effort to continue our important work of promoting local entrepreneurs and encouraging Berrien County visitors and residents alike to Buy Local.
